🤔 hmmm... Connaissez-vous un lecteur de fichiers #epub et #pdf pour terminaux Android (smartphone et liseuse) qui permette de sauvegarder les citations sur un cloud autre que #GoogleDrive ?

L'idéal serait de pouvoir utiliser un accès #webDAV à mon espace chez #Infomaniak (où j'ai déjà un dossier "Livres numériques" rempli de fichiers). Ou au moins un cloud indépendant, qui puisse synchroniser entre au moins deux appareils et exporter les citations au format texte simple...

#RClone auf MacOS hat mich mit #WebDav Remote auf ein #Nextcloud leider nicht überzeugt. Es war so langsam! Der MacOS Finder kann sich da besser nativ mit WebDav verbinden, das klappt besser.

Ist RClone doch so sehr Niche? Wäre schade, da es eigentlich echt ein spannendes Stück Software ist

The trailing slash problem of #WebDAV is just an instance of how file systems are too weakly typed. Operations on a file system should come with clear expectations of what is being accessed, not #POSIX's wish-wash "it's a file-like thing so interact with it and that interaction might fail" approach.

I strongly dislike having to work around that.

@funkvolk Als Ersatz für OneNote (und Google keep) nutze ich #Joplin. Ich bin damit sehr zufrieden. Ist verfügbar für #Windows, #Linux, #Android, #iOS. Joplin ist #OpenSource.
Es kann auf vielen Wegen in Clouds synchronisieren. Unter anderem Joplin-Cloud, Nextcloud oder auch via #WebDAV. Letzteres nutze ich mit meinem HiDrive. Synchronisation ist auf Wunsch auch verschlüsselt. Und durch die Synchronisation habe ich alles immer auf meinen 3 Geräten gleich.

I'd be surprised to see Nextcloud notes, and other directories use IMAP. What I'm sure it supports (because I use it that way) is #webdav

If Notes is an important part of your workflow, you might consider #QOwnNotes as stand alone app on the computer.

Apart form thet #Obsidian might also be a good candidate, that is also available for iOS. Though I don't have any experience with it yet.

Was verwendet man im Jahr 2025 eigentlich unter Debian, wenn man schnell einen (internen) #WebDAV-Server braucht? 🤔

Nginx ist leider keine Option, der hat für den geplanten Client angeblich eine Inkompatibilität. Soll ich wirklich Apache nehmen? Oder gibt es da (außer Lighttpd) noch andere Alternativen, die ich nicht auf dem Radar habe? 😬

Meine Überlegung zum dem Thema ist, ob der #nextcloud Desktop Client für Enterprise überhaupt sinnvoll ist. Will man die Daten des Unternehmens überall verstreut auf den Geräten, sogar Laptops, haben? ist es nicht sinnvoller, über #WebDAV im Bedarf auf die Dateien zuzugreifen? Und für gleichzeitiges Bearbeiten ist das Arbeiten im Browser IMHO sinnvoller, um Konflikte zu vermeiden.
