Prompted by @foosel post about #Godot I'm wondering whether folk would recommend Godot or #gdevelop for a 14 year old to learn with?

He did start learning how to build a simple platform game in Unity using a course on Udemy but found that the course was out of date with the unity versions and things didn't work and there was little to no support from the course provider so he got frustrated and quit.

He's previous experience is with scratch.

The GDevelop Weekend Game Jam is on at the moment, and though there are a million other things I should be doing I've decided to tackle an online multiplayer racing game.
