DeJoy is stepping down at the USPS. He wasn't the best there and did some things that hurt the Postal Service. My suspicion is that Republicans are trying to create a situation to justify it being privatized to some GOP fat cat.

Faaaarrrrkkk. I don't know about the UK, but in Aotearoa NZ Post guarantees inclusion in public process for anyone who can't (or chooses not to) use digital technology.
It delivers ballots for local body elections.
It also guarantees access to hard copies of important documents, and a way to certify when they were last altered (if the envelope is sealed and unopened).
