- That would be deranged and in complete denial of reality.
What is however evident is that only #PostPrivacy #Shitcoins can do #ProofOfStake as unlike #ProofOfWork it inherently necessitates #PostPrivacy as in all transactions and amounts are public.
- I'm pretty shure that #PoS cannot be implemented (even if #Monero devs wanted it to!) without making removing Monero's #privacy that it can retain under #PoW.
Again: I call it "least worst" for a reason; not "great", "good" or even "okay"...

PoS is unworkable for many reasons but most obviously because your stake is the number of coins you own. Publishing the number of coins you own defeats the purpose of Monero's confidentiality guarantees. It's a non-starter.

@t3n ja, und das Problem ist halt durch #Shitcoins und jene #PostPrivacy basierend.
- Datenlecks bei Börsen wie #Coinbase samt #KYC-Datensätze machen #Entführungen samt #Lösegeldforderungen umso einfacher und gängiger.
Anders als #Banken wo die #ITsec, #InfoSec, #OpSec & #ComSec nicht nur keine #Transparenz des Kontostandes bietet sondern welche auch explizit Pläne für solche Szenarien haben, wo Leute ggf. bedroht werden und gezwungen werden deren Konto leerzuräumen.
- Und während quasi kaum eine Bank >€5k pro Kunde und Tag ausspuckt, ist ein #Shitcoin (#Bspw. #Bitcoin oder #Ethereum) - Wallet zuhause quasi so als würde jemensch damit prahlen Geld unters Bett zu packen, nur mit dem Unterschied dass Kriminelle vorab genau wissen, wieviel dort ist und die Flüsse in Echtzeit kontrollieren können und jene Shitcoins schnell soviel wert sein können wie ne Matratze aus €5-Geldscheinen...

Die #GroKo befürwortet eine Post-Privacy-Gesellschaft bzw. #CDU, #CSU und #SPD sind #Datenexhibitionisten.
Ich bezweifle allerdings, dass #Datenökonomie bedeutet, dass wir für die Bereitstellung unserer #Daten finanziell entschädigt werden.
Weil's gerade wieder aufkam: "Post-Privacy" hat nie bedeutet, dass Leute zur Aufgabe ihrer Privatsphäre gezwungen werden sollen. Auch wenn das gern von besonders lauten Akteuren herumkrakeelt wird.
Stattdessen ging's in meinen Augen im Kern um zwei Dinge:
• Was ist als Gesellschaft unsere Antwort darauf, dass die Privatsphäre durch zunehmende Digitalisierung erodiert?
• Steckt da vielleicht irgendwo ein Funken einer Chance drin, dass etwas Schönes daraus entstehen kann?
I hope it is no surprise when I tell you that you don't have #privacy and #digitalsovereignty (and #security) if you do not have the right #motivation as well as the #knowledge and/or #money to act accordingly.
Therefore, most people are excluded here because of at least one reason.
In that sense, #postprivacy has arrived long time ago.
