#Doorsday is here! 🚪

I live in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, but my company is based in Bavaria (and so is my employment contract). This means I have an unexpected holiday today (Corpus Christi), because I get to enjoy the Bavarian ones (of all 16 German states, Bavaria has the most public holidays, hehehe 😌)!
Fun fact: The city of Augsburg has a unique additional holiday that is limited to the city area! However, in my company, only the employees who are based in Augsburg, get the day off.

To celebrate my lazy day, today's #door is from #Augsburg Town Hall, and I love the wooden ornaments here! They are so humble yet very artistic.
The Town Hall itself is one of the most significant secular #Renaissance buildings north of the Alps. It was designed and built by Master Builder Elias Holl in 1615–1624. The Town Hall is most famous for its Golden Hall ("Goldener Saal"), but it's undergoing renovations and is mostly closed until 2026.
