While Github Copilot is generally good at taking some of the pain out of writing Unit/Integration tests*, this is a fairly good example of why you need to be able to review what it's doing... I think I can probably come up with a slightly more time efficient approach.
*At least when it has a manually written success path to extrapolate from
Oh my god, I just tried out GitHub #copilot Chat for the first time. Yesterday I used the default model from #vscode and it #hallucinated a lot and did not come to any positive result.
Then I read more about https://docs.github.com/en/copilot/using-github-copilot/ai-models/choosing-the-right-ai-model-for-your-task and tried out Claude Sonnet 3.7.
People spending money on this?! It couldn't achieve a basic instruction.

People say things like "AI is scary" when what they mean is "AI is going to require me to change".
In a private #Github organization, in a private repo filled with NDA code, Github decided that to automatically start reviewing that code using Copilot.
Mind you, Copilot is disabled for this organization.
Could we please just fucking not ?! Not even mentioning the fact that the Github organization didn't enabled this, there is no data policy to be found in sight. I have no clue what Copilot does with the data after it "reviewed" the code and I could potentially be breaking the signed NDA.

Ich: „Aha, interessant, habe beruflich damit zu tun: Welches Modell? Von welcher Firma?Wo werden die #Daten gespeichert? Wer verarbeitet meine Krankheitsgeschichte noch und für was?“
Große Augen gucken mich an. Dann gestottert: „Ähm…Copilot…“
Ich: „Okay, unterlassen Sie das bitte.“
Aber die Art und Weise, wie dann die Anamnese geführt wurde (die schlechteste ever!), ließ mich wenigstens verstehen, wie man überhaupt #Copilot dazu einsetzen können wollte. Und ein kleiner Teil in mir bereute die Weigerung sogar.
Der Arzt musste alles nochmals fragen.

@tauon What is #Outlook anyway? From this statement it rather reads like a #malware you'd install as an admin on a person's computer, who doesn't pay for your support services, to monetize this person's daily computer usage and maybe spy on her/him.

And besides this malware can also be used for emailing but its primary purpose is surveillance. I never understood why people would want to install and use it. If I was an antivirus vendor, I'd classify Outlook as spyware and prohibit internet access and prevent it from creating, editing or deleting any data on a computer.
