I met @NinjaKoala during #revision2024 and spend the night tinkering around using gedit to craft the NFO while he was "permutating the compiler by hand" and showed me the magic behind a 4k demo. It still is magic and did not take away anything from the result.

Unexpected pleasure: I brought a roll of stickers (digital Bob Ross, like my current avatar) which depleted like hot cakes. I had to do multiple restocks at front desk.

As a side note to #revision2024, Saarbrücken, DE is a great place. Even on Easter Weekend, when everything is mostly closed, I got to see a lot of cool things outside of the #demoparty.

Saarbrücken Castle was pretty cool, it is mostly a community center now but the Saar Museum next door let's you explore the now-capped castle moat, which was awesome. There's also some pretty serious history to learn there.

And lots of incredible old buildings/churches to admire.

Looking forward to returning.

The @revisionparty is over and it was - as always - an awesome event. It was great to meet old friends, code a little bit while listening to the DJ sets, all the great compo entries and the friendly mood of everyone.

I realised on the shuttle bus back from #revision2024 that when I sent my flight times to the orga team be corrected (I messed it up on the web form) they accidentally read my flight landing time as the takeoff time, so I would've had 8 minutes to get to my flight by the time the shuttle got to the airport

hit manage booking on my BA email to see what options I had, clicked "change flight" expecting to get gouged, but nope! free change to the 1800 flight, and upgraded to an exit row. winning!

Can you burn some crypto-money and show demos from #revision2024 during Superbowl and Champions League - please.

That was the most visually and acoustically pleasing show ever. If these people would do visuals and sounds in clubs people would just stay from Friday to Monday.
