Vincent St. Pierre<p>With the loss of Google Podcasts, I'm looking for a new podcast aggregator app.</p><p>I tried YouTube Music: it takes close to six clicks to get to an episode, and that's painful. Also, it's quite clunky and creates barriers between myself and content. Uncomics<p>I pay as little attention as possible to <a href="https://vis.social/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Google</span></a>. Their reach is vast but I'm not interested in being party to their surveillance business model. When I launched the Uncomics podcast however, I put it up for distribution through <a href="https://vis.social/tags/GooglePodcasts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GooglePodcasts</span></a> so it might find a wider audience.</p><p>Now that Google is shuttering its podcast platforms, I am not migrating the Uncomics podcast to <a href="https://vis.social/tags/Youtube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Youtube</span></a> as they recommend. Youtube has not been a force for good in the world and I can't be part of that platform.</p><p>1/2</p>

Hey, quick parentheses, I never liked that Spotify went into Podcasts but liked it less when they paid notoriously bigoted, alt-right, bully, loud mouthed, conspiracy-pushing hosts. That's why Ioved to Deezer and then decided to leave the Music as a Service providers. I won't get back to those any time soon.
So what to do then?
