In the first talk @norbu talked about #TeXLive at #arxiv giving insights on the production and submission process. Facing a bunch of issues probably everyone has who tries to work with author submissions.

Also facing the issue that #overleaf users ignore errors and expect everything to be fine. Really would love have that changed as well.

YES! For example, something like automatic renaming `main.pdf` into `error-main.pdf` and a fat red diagonal banner: “There are issues to be fixed!”, across the preview of each page would be a good step.

Well… the hard part is, that it would be against them selling, that “it's easy”.

I think they are scared it would increase the support requests a lot … Which is for sure …

Concerning the quality of input files it got much worse with more people getting started using #TeXLaTeX with #Overleaf
