Besonders betroffen sind Feuchtlebensräume wie <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Fl%C3%BCsse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Flüsse</span></a> und <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Moore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Moore</span></a> sowie die damit verbundenen Artengruppen, darunter <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Fische" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fische</span></a>, <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Amphibien" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Amphibien</span></a> und <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Reptilien" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Reptilien</span></a>.<br>Zwischen den letzten beiden Berichtsperioden hat sich der Erhaltungszustand von mehr Arten und Lebensräumen verschlechtert als verbessert. Dies zeigt, dass die bisherigen Schutzmaßnahmen nicht ausreichen, um die Ziele der <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/EU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EU</span></a>-Vorgaben zu erreichen.<br>Über die Hälfte der bewerteten Fließgewässerabschnitte erreichen keinen guten ökologischen Zustand gemäß der EU-<a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Wasserrahmenrichtlinie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Wasserrahmenrichtlinie</span></a>. Die Hauptursachen sind <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Verbauungen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Verbauungen</span></a>, <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Begradigungen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Begradigungen</span></a> und <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Verschmutzungen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Verschmutzungen</span></a>, die den natürlichen Zustand der <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Gew%C3%A4sser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gewässer</span></a> erheblich beeinträchtigen.<br>Mehr als ein Viertel aller <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Brutvogelarten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Brutvogelarten</span></a> in Österreich zeigen negative Bestandstrends. Besonders betroffen sind <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/V%C3%B6gel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Vögel</span></a> der <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Kulturlandschaft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Kulturlandschaft</span></a>: Der Farmland Bird Index weist einen Rückgang von etwa 40 % in den letzten 25 Jahren aus.<br>Die <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Biodiversit%C3%A4t" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Biodiversität</span></a> in Österreich wird durch zahlreiche menschliche Aktivitäten beeinträchtigt.
