Francois DionThat looks like nothing, but that is the back of my auxiliary modules for the 2600 <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/semimodular" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#semimodular</a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/synth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#synth</a>. I needed all the 2hp space of this 19" <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/eurorack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#eurorack</a> rails, so I put the power supply in the back. The rails are slotted for square nuts only on the front, so I tapped some 3mm threads in the back so I could mount some standoffs, and mount the eurorack power supply to them.

The one thing I was not a fan of, the matrix switchers. Not a matrix in the style of the Putney but instead a bunch of sliding switches. The #2600 <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/semimodular" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#semimodular</a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/synth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#synth</a> was about as good as a semi modular gets.

Francois DionOne thing that has become clear, doing lots of quick patching / unpatching (<a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/jamuary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#jamuary</a> forces you to optimize): my wall mounted patch cable holders are too far. Going to try a holder that is made to be mounted on a mike stand. That way it’ll be at arm length. You can never have too many patch cables. I would also suggest some splitters (multiples).
