TanjaI'm also dabbling a bit with Bluesky. The weekly prompt in one of the crochet Threads there was neckwear: cowls, loops scarfs etc. I'm not a huge fan of cowls, but was intruiged with the Moebius technique, so gave this a try. Bonus: it also doubles as a headwrap. And the yarn is beautiful. TanjaThe details in that beauty are great, I love all the structure. Lots of bobble stitches in variations. (.... though not as many as in my current WIP) I remember I made this shawl for a MAL over on Ravelry (Make-Along) with the topic Earth and my inspiration was Sedona. The pattern itself was also a CAL (Crochet Along) by the Designers, but I made it later. In any case - I love the composition of this pattern. Bonus - the yarn is from a small yarnwinder in my country. TanjaOh, I almost forgot about this beauty! I used 2 Yarncakes and alternated them; I ended up using about 1824 m yarn. It's a pattern by a polish designer, essentially it's just charts and I was so proud that I managed to make it. Being able to read crochet charts opens up a whole new world beyond language barriers. I love it. TanjaHere's another pattern I made several times from when I was a beginner to more advanced. It was also the first pattern I actually bought. In the beginning it was important to me that the patterns I used were free, as I really needed to learn and get a feeling for them. Nowadays I'm happy to pay for a well written pattern or chart. (in fact, I prefer charts now) In any case, this one being the first pattern I bought holds a special place in my heart and I should really make it again. :-) The second picture shows a close up of the intricate pattern.
