kgoetz<p>Thinking some more today about <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> displaying posts (yesterday: <a href="https://aus.social/@kgoetz/114067206335352070" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">aus.social/@kgoetz/11406720633</span><span class="invisible">5352070</span></a> ), I’m realising Mastodon posts ( <a href="https://aus.social/tags/activititypub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>activititypub</span></a> in general?) match <a href="https://aus.social/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>email</span></a> threads closer than they do interactive chat.<br>So really <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Masto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Masto</span></a> / AP posts should be displayed more as tributes to <a href="https://aus.social/tags/FlyingSpaghettiMonster" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FlyingSpaghettiMonster</span></a>, <a href="https://aus.social/tags/FSM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FSM</span></a> , in cascades like His <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Noodly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Noodly</span></a> Appendages (aka, Directed Acyclic Graphs).</p><p>Nothing like preparing a presentation for <a href="https://aus.social/tags/TasLUG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TasLUG</span></a> to ensure my mind will prioritise topics like this 🙄</p>
