Um Webseiten anzuzeigen, braucht es die Web-App, die zudem nicht in der root installiert werden darf, wenn noch weitere Apps benötigt werden. Beides habe ich kapiert.
ABER, die Web-App erzeugt dadurch ein Unterverzeichnis "/sites", weshalb die URL aller Seiten domain.tld/sites/article.html statt domain.tld/article.html lauten. Wer will denn sowas? Also ich nicht.
Lässt sich dieser Unsinn beheben?
Wanted: minimal web server with the following features:
- serve files (like they all do)
- provides any form of a writeable key/value store
- provides authentication, and authorization for sets of keys
Where key/value store may be as simple as filename/filecontent.
Sure there are tons of servers out there typically requiring non-trivial configuration. If anyone knows a really simple solution, let me know.

I'm just getting into self-hosting and have been looking for Apache/nginx simpler and lighter (small codebase, just the enough functionality for my wants) alternatives.
Atm, darkhttpd seems to be the best option, with the possibility of switching to (OpenBSD) httpd in the future if possible.
I would like to hear the opinions of the experienced people out there.

Om er voor te zorgen dat internet/netwerk het blijft doen (met zicht op mijn ziekteverloop), denk ik er aan om het modem dat gedeelte weer zelf te laten doen. Maar, ik wil nog dat de #webserver daar achter blijft werken. Ik krijg maar moeilijk bevestiging dat #poortforwarding van 80/443 goed werkt. Ervaringsdeskundigen die me hier kan verlossen? #dtv
