This morning I was very tempted to do the same to a crying woman who walked into my computer room. Glad to say that I did not give her the Heimlich maneuver, but instead listened and gave her my dishes to wash. I loved it a lot from its first broadcast and throughout the VHS era, but hadn't gone back in a long time.A lot of it holds up, but I'd forgotten how generally bleak and sour its whole vibe had gotten behind the jokes. From Series V, if you squint at the screen a little you can see Grant and Naylor hating the crap out of each other more and more with each episode.
