The white layers had large pores with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/water" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#water</a> in it. When <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/sediment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#sediment</a> was accumulated the pressure was growing & finally the water was squeezed out upwards-its a water escape structure.
