Strypey<p>The browser I use on Android (Fennec F-Droid) just switched my default search engine back to Goggle, and what's worse, completely removed Mojeek and Brave as search options. This is an anti-feature!</p><p>It would be great if F-Droid builds of Android browsers stripped out the code that pulls dick moves like this.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/search" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>search</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/SearchEngines" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SearchEngines</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/WebBrowser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WebBrowser</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/FDroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FDroid</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/FennecFDroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FennecFDroid</span></a></p>

m. boncorbeau<p>Just received a notification from <a href="https://bonn.social/tags/fdroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fdroid</span></a> that <a href="https://bonn.social/tags/fennec" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fennec</span></a> <a href="https://bonn.social/tags/fennecfdroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fennecfdroid</span></a> had a vulnerability discovered. What is happening and what browser alternatives are there?</p>
Strypey<p>I just upgraded to F-Droid 1.20.1, before I saw the advice to wait for 1.21.1.
