Kat Marchán 🐈I really wish magma weren’t so tedious. Burning down entire forests for charcoal or trying to find coal veins for fuel is completely unsustainable, but doing a magma pump stack for that many levels is also a massive pain, and the only alternative I know of (the minecart trick) is kind of ok but is tedious af. At least I only need to do it a few times in the entire lifetime of the fort, though. I just wish there were a better way. And no I don’t want to start my fortress one z-level above the magma sea. Why not?
