Antinous the Gay God<p>🪷 On 15 July 484 BC, Rome dedicated the temple of the twins <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Castor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Castor</span></a> and <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Pollux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Pollux</span></a>, symbols of same-sex devotion. This statue of <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/CastorAndPollux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CastorAndPollux</span></a> is the <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Dioscuri" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dioscuri</span></a> <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Ildefonso" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ildefonso</span></a> group at the Museo del Prado, restored using a genuine, albeit slightly restored <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Antinous" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Antinous</span></a> head. 🪷</p>
