It's so nice to have time for more making art again. In today's #inkyDays drawing, I'm playing with a pattern from a few days ago, but with a different ink.

I’m leaning into making “bad art,” rather than not making art at all. So I present to you a watercolor sketch of Bangkok, Thailand. The day I began this was in the middle of burn season, the air was thick with smoke and the sky was shining a hot pink through the sunshine and pollution. Ist dein aktuelles Projekt ein Stand-alone oder Teil einer Reihe?
Eigentlich ist es eher ein multi Media Franchise so wie es sich anfühlt...
Ich habe ganz klar Dinge wie Serien und Filme, Musik und Videospiele im Kopf, Comics, Mangas, Modellbausätze
etc. Ich habe ein Dokument mit Hinweisen und visuellen Tipps für Designer und Propbauer (wenn auch nur Handschriftlich auf Deutsch).
Und ich habe heute Nacht 7 Stunden mit meinem mehr als dürftigen digital painting skills am Handy die Form der Ghoz'Tarc erarbeitet...
Mein Worldbuilding ist an und für sich "zu schade" für nur ein Star Ryde Buch und gelinde gesagt etwas Größenwahnsinnig. Es gibt Charactere die ihr eigenes Spotlight verdienen und viel zu viel Background Material (halt perfekt um Später mehr daraus zu machen) aber so wie ich mit der Story struggle steht das alles noch in den Sternen... (Ironisch bei einer Weltraumreisen Geschichte...)

I'm continuing to work on unfinished paintings in sequence; its this one's turn now. It helped to let it sit for a while; I can see more clearly what to do, although after a while I lose sight of it again and move on to another one.
Little WIP Wednesday on this Biologis guy. Really like where he's going!

What does a perfect world look like to your MC?

"A perfect world would be just a tiny bit imperfect, so we still have things to strive for.
Otherwise?
Equal rights for everyone, free coverage of basic needs however they look like, living free without fear & yes I would prefer this to be the case even with our enemies, the Eltaryn.
We don't need some sort of perfect paradise just enough understanding to form goals together working towards a better future together.
The Union is pretty much the best we achieved & I would keep a lot of it.
Universal income, high valued work, freedom of speech & thought, individual responsibility for persons & companies, general right & duty of education, freedom of living where you want, universal healthcare, housing & childcare. I believe that if we know the needs of our neighbors we will find a way to incorporate their views & needs in a fair society."
