Ross of OttawaHaven't had a chance to debug that defunct audio playback function on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HomeAssistant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#HomeAssistant</a>, but taking a look now. I see there's an update for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/VLC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#VLC</a> on the HA platform, which I use for audio over the RPi output jack. Maybe that's related to the loss of that function, but that seems a thin tendril of hope to hang my hat upon. Things rarely seem to miraculously fix themselves, but one can hope. 😕

Why would it be different?
