Trump Regime Bulletin:
The King Has No Clothes!
Literally tens of people showed up in Washington for Trump's birthday military parade.
Fewer people than who normally show up on a Summer Saturday afternoon in Washington DC
Trump ordered the 6,600 soldiers to march for him, while we taxpayers paid the $45,000,000 price tag!
Meanwhile, 10 million Americans voluntarily protested the Trump regime at cities throughout the US!

This is not to endorse the Dems’ strategy right now, and the number should be way closer to 100%!
But I do want to make you think twice when you see headlines like that one.
A couple people responded to my earlier post about the shoddy WSJ article (https://hachyderm.io/@molly0xfff/114683662588184161) to say “well it’s true that Democrats aren’t supporting the protests!”
At my best count, 75 elected Democrats (Congresspeople, governors) attended protests today. Another 27 encouraged people to go.
That’s just looking at today’s protests, not Democrats talking about or attending protests more generally. It also doesn’t count the many more state or local officials who showed up, candidates, etc.
RALLY
#Albuquerque #NM had a good showing. The #AlbuquerqueJournal did a deep dive coverage, some good beat reporting here, plus the photos of all the #NoKings rally signs - my favorite part!

Trump news at a glance: mass protests against administration amid military parade and deadly violence https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/15/president-trump-administration-updates-today #Trumpadministration #DonaldTrump #USpolitics #USnews
A spectacle MSM could not ignore: Chanting (preferably in Latin) Catholic priests in full regalia surrounding immigrants from doorstep to court and back again.
It would be above-the-fold news. MSM would anticipate Republican Nazi enforcers manhandling priests and causing trouble.
Irresistible. Make it so, number one.
It was an excellent day for a protest. It was in the low 80s with a breeze. Even though our town is tiny, we had a big turnout in the middle of town. Lots of great signs and enthusiasm. The majority of cars that passed honked in unity. A very few that gave the finger or thumbs down. At the very end, when only a small number of us were left, a teenage troll rounded up three kids in the 8-12 age range and they held up thin pieces of paper with badly scrawled pro-president messages. They stood on the opposite side of the street and heckled the way you would expect from an adolescent. It was amusing.
I’m so pleased to see the protests huge and small across the country and even other countries. The Felon won’t give a shit, but that isn’t really the point. Resistance, standing up, and making our voices heard is the point, and we sure as hell did that.
Here was my new protest sign for the day.

Here comes the spin machine. I just saw an article referring to the shooter as a "Walz appointee" and adding that the Dems were "angry with" the victim. I shouldn't expect anything else from the NY Post, I guess.
