@cryptgoat Es ist aber nachweislich einfacher und schneller, z.B. @monocles / #monoclesChat anonym einzurichten, als sich über umwege ne anonyme #SIM-Karte zu beschaffen.

#Matrix ist shice, aber #XMPP+#OMEMO funktionert sehr gut.

Genauso wie #VPN|s nachweislich shice sind und @torproject / #Tor ungeschlagen ist!

@delta also #deltaChat natively supports #Proxies, #VPN|s and @torproject / #Tor so not only can people use it that way but also use any other bypass method.

  • Obviously, the classic #Sneakernet with people doing uucp with foreign mobile networks near borders works just as well...

I'd not be surprised if delta Chat is also used by #RimjinGang* and #38North** for a "contactless sneakernet" tho I am convinced they won't confirm or deny that for #OpSec, #InfoSec & #ComSec reasons alone...

  • I mean, both #Iran and #NorthKorea ain't #Iraq and #Syria where one could just take a phat satellite dish, strap an LTE stick or even external antennas on and just point it at turkish or lebanese radio towers near the border, as owning any satellite equipment in these places is a guarantee to get publicly executed for "espionage"...

"First off, “be available everywhere.” In the past, whistleblowers have been burned because their web histories pointed directly to when and where they reached out to their journalist. So, use the commons of the internet to give people the information they need to securely establish first contact. If you’re running a tipline advertisement on your own website, use an encrypted and safe URL that will not indicate that the public has visited your explicit whistleblowing instructions.

Third-party services like Google are not your friend for the most sensitive of data. Google can definitely be subpoenaed for all the juicy whistleblower details. Find an alternative. Make your submission portals available over Tor, too! Visiting an onion address can make a huge difference.

Lastly, encrypt all the things. This means data in transit as well as at rest. If you are going to plop the next Panama Papers on your hard drive, encrypt that computer like your life depends on it."

Nachdem ich letztens 12h durch die Sourcen des #NetworkManager getaucht bin... habe ich das heute mit #dnsmasq wiederholt...🙈

Das was ich will geht einfach nicht ohne neu kompilieren des NetworkManager.

Aktuell sinds eh nur noch drei Server.
Aber sind noch da und schnurren vor sich hin. 2 bsi 5 TB im Monat ist okay, ich will keine Limits reißen...

Updaten und rebooten sich brav selber, der #afil2ban ist auch überall aktiv - passt.

@nemo Dieser Beitrag ist von 2022, und das Mixnet ,,Nym" existiert bereits samt App. Als ein Produkt, dass besser als Tor sein soll, kann es allerdings kaum überzeugen.

Es werden nur 2 Knoten im sog. ,,Fast mode" eingesetzt, was im Anbetracht des fehlenden Mittelknotens ungut ist. Im ,,Anonymous"-Modus verliert man stark an Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit, da gefälschte Datenpakete über 5 Knoten miteingebunden werden ⁻ etwas, was das Tor Projekt bewusst weggelassen hat, da es sonst keiner nutzen kann, denn selbst wenn man sicherer vor Timing-Analysen ist (die auch mit Tor sehr aufwendig sind), ist die Verbindung gefühlt langsamer als eine Wählleitung. Zudem ist Nym kostenpflichtig?! Für mein Recht auf Privatsphäre will Ich kein Monatsabo eingehen müssen.

Nein, Danke. Lieber #Tor Projekt.
