RE: The locked profile function, that provides excellent individual privacy, that Facebook India has is never going to be expanded into North America, Europe, and Asia. If Facebook could find away to kill the feature legally, they would.
The only reason Facebook did not move out of India is the sheer volume of users, plus enabling the future, triggers an enhanced marking algorithm. So those people, believing they are more private, end up being BETA Testers for improved marketing functionality.
