More photos from the Great Elephant Migration, a traveling exhibit that passed through NY last year. I’m fond of the elephant in the 2nd pic, which may have been the chubbiest and happiest of them. All 100 sculptures were modeled on individual living elephants, so even if they weren’t real, we still felt a thrill of connection. More info on the project is in the alt text.
