Day 466. When deploying an #Azure Private DNS Resolver through #Terraform, it failed because apparently the virtual network was in 'Updating' state. That happened because Terraform concurrently deployed the subnet the DNS Resolver's inbound endpoint should get attached to. To get this to work flawlessly, you need to manually make the DNS Resolver Terraform resource depend on the subnet.

I decided to move my Proxmox provisioning to Terraform, instead of Ansible. I'm 50/50 on this move: on one hand Ansible is not the best for infrastructure provisioning, on the other hand I had to use some "external" data source trickery to make Proxmox do what I want it to do, just because the API can't (and in consequence, the provider can't, so not it's fault).

Maybe I'm too picky? I don't know. But it works for now, and I don't provision new stuff on a regular basis. So, we'll see.

Until now, we’ve been hosting it with a company that specializes in hosting very specific types of applications, like Drupal. This wasn’t working for us because our service is running in our Kubernetes cluster at a cloud service provider that specializes in managed Kubernetes hosting, which let’s us run whatever applications we want, and configure them however we need.
