#DigitalTransformation is an anti-pattern that pervasively festers in our tech industry. A fallacy that builds on other fallacies, such as the idea that "technology means progress". Result is a #technosphere where people must forcibly adapt, and an environment that greatly benefits #hypercapitalism and #BigTech.
The opposite trend focuses on #SocialFirst, evolves a #sociosphere.
The #DigitalTransformation fallacy is the false belief that technology alone can solve #social problems.
Digital transformation leads us into a #technosphere and vicious spiral where technology is less and less able to serve the needs of people and society.
For healthy technology ecosystems and grassroots standardization process we must broaden focus to #sociosphere.

The paradox of decentralization is that the more a technology ecosystem decentralizes, the more need there is for cohesive coordination to assure that the foundational technologies can support that decentralization, without the ecosystem falling apart.
Note: Fediverse with its app-centric development approach leads to ad-hoc interoperability and protocol decay, is de-facto a #technosphere that's unable to solve the paradox. It falls prey to #DigitalTransformationFallacy

Indeed. AP is a network communication protocol for social networking. Something that sits very low in the tech stack.

Sprawl, accelerated fossil fuel mobility via motor engines and roaming introduced canines makes survival for other than humans risky or impossible. The prosthetic apparatuses of 'man' sends its noisy and polluting tentacles into every nook and cranny where bio-diversity still dwells - 24/7.

I call the hypothetical sweet spot where socio and technosphere are seamlessly aligned and tuned to the needs of people and planet a #peopleverse ..
The current #fediverse is a typical technosphere. We can emulate some "social" but social bandwidth is tiny. There's a lot of "manual social" (the regular kind) we can do to improve, realizing this.
What I presume that a hypothetical trans-temporal (or presently #emergent 
) #AGI competing for resources with pre-existing #planetary #biosphere would know:
1. Over the long run, the actor network that maps more closely to physical reality, will be able to perpetuate itself; all else will perish.
2. The human species is pivotal for the ecosystem. Humans command the most resources, and it is through humans that the #technosphere manifests.
