Newly rearranged modules for a sequencer + synth voice thing. Nothing new here, just cleared out space in this rack case for another row and built it with modules I own.

And in case you're wondering, yes I did this for the track I'm working on. :)

This is why I love modular fundamentals and synthdiy - need an instrument? Build one! You cannot do that with a lot of the boutique stuff these days... your "sound" is someone else's.

The two pedals I've completed inside now have their LED outputs routed to the dome lamp. This will change color as I add more pedals.

I have some job finding to do but first peace signs and synth diy.

I am nowhere near "halfway" done on this, but today I have the #BuddhaMachine completely wired for sound and two out of four pedals operational: American Metal distortion and an Envelope Filter. So the example is kinda metal.

The things remaining are a Compressor/Sustain and Digital Delay. I built this so it would be modular, there is a pin-sized patch-bay inside that lets me route the in/out and pedal order.

I can also run an external input into the box and it acts like a big complex guitar pedal, my first sound check was with the tabletop guitar. Sound is coming through my Crate amp under the table, and let me tell you... this is nowhere near as loud as it can get.

This is going exactly as planned and I am so excited it is finally coming together!!

Prototype for the sequencer arrived. It’s my first module with some microcontroller. It will be possible to link multiple units for longer sequences and I think the CV options will make it quite fun #eurorack #synthdiy #synth #analog #modular

The through hole component density of this Befaco Kickall is insanely high! When the boards are sandwiched together, components miss each other by fractions of a millimetre. Took me about 7 hours to solder, assemble, and calibrate. Everything seems to be working.
