A closer look at yesterdays new dinosaur species, Enigmacursor mollyborthwickae, from the Morrison Formation. It is always a big thrill to be the first to reconstruct a new species.
Toned paper experiment with black brush pen and white gel pen! Had to draw this amazing disapproving Corgi giving epic side eye... I am judged.

My #linocut of Italian #neurobiologist Rita Levi-Montalcini (1909 – 2012) who won the 1986 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with for her co-discovery of nerve growth factor (NGF)
Youngest of 4 of a Turin Jewish family, she planned to be a writer but the death of a nanny to cancer inspired her to pursue medicine. Inspired by neurohistologist Levi to study nerves as an undergrad, she stayed on after med school in ‘36 as his assistant.

Detox Doodles!
This is a habit of drawing something every time I feel the urge to scroll unnecessarily. It helps stop the bad habit and start a new good habit of sketching daily!
Double spread of wombats, who were hard to draw!
I was recently commissioned to create two illustrations for The Australian Geologist, the quarterly magazine of the Geological Society of Australia
One of the illustrations highlights featured research, the other is just for fun!
