Its #raining here- started over night, still going near 1pm, +a bit yesterday afternoon. Very welcome, we weren't as dry as many places, we've had #rain already this #spring and snow not that long ago, but wetlands have been weirdly dry as our Winter #snow melt was modest and all soaked in quickly. The mesic + upland soils are in decent shape from rain, but wetlands have a hard time catching up if snowmelt is inadequate. photo details in alt

stay strong, fight to be your true self

This wasn’t a stormy day or even a particularly cold one. In fact in the other direction there was a blue sky and few clouds. The view is looking out towards the island of Rum from the Isle of Skye. It’s perfectly possible to see locally divergent weather patterns and not experience the actual conditions. I didn’t get wet. The dog and I had a pleasant walk.
