Grant został przyznany, $1.5mln, ale pod warunkami:</p><p>"Warunki te obejmowały potwierdzenie oświadczenia, że „nie prowadzimy i nie będziemy prowadzić w okresie obowiązywania niniejszej pomocy finansowej żadnych programów, które promują lub wspierają DEI lub dyskryminacyjną ideologię równości...""</p><p>Ostatecznie zdecydowany o wycofaniu wniosku o grant:</p><p>"Różnorodność, równość i integracja stanowią podstawę wartości PSF, zgodnie z naszą misją: <br>Misją Python Software Foundation jest promowanie, ochrona i rozwój języka programowania Python oraz wspieranie i ułatwianie rozwoju różnorodnej i międzynarodowej społeczności programistów Python.<br>Biorąc pod uwagę wartość dotacji dla społeczności i PSF, dołożyliśmy wszelkich starań, aby uzyskać jasność co do warunków i znaleźć sposób na dalsze działanie zgodne z naszymi wartościami. Much respect for sticking to their principles... but principles don't pay the bills. I use <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Python</span></a> nearly every day, and I am more effective at my job for it. Time to put my money where my mouth is.</p>
