Polar Remote Sensing, BremenIn 2022 we measured ocean and sea ice microwave brightness temperatures in the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Arctic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Arctic</a> from onboard <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Polarstern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Polarstern</a>. We deployed 'conventional' radiometers that were used to measure the atmosphere and added a special feature to observe the surface as well: mirrors! Curious?
