Browser Password managers have improved considerably over the years, but they are still fairly insecure, and unreliable compared to stand alone dedicated password managers like, Bitwarden & protonpass.

Works flawlessly on desktop — but mobile keeps blocking the standard Android Autofill API.
Why ignore this for years? It’s 2025, this shouldn’t still be broken.
A local store is selling password keeper for those who want to write down passwords on a piece of paper. Very secure
Anyone on #macOS #Tahoe able to get @1password in their "AutoFill & Passwords" section of the settings? It only shows Apples own Passwords app for me. I've uninstalled and re-installed #1Password and checked for updates and it's not there. I figure it should be as it's a #PasswordManager?

Bitwarden costs me a mere €12 per year. Given all the value I get from it it would be absurd not to pay for it.

Yes, password managers are important, and so is digital sovereignty — especially in these troubling times. That’s why it’s crucial to choose a password manager that operates outside the jurisdictions of the United States, Russia, and China
