I pivoted towards canvas panels bc yeah: I noticed people bought artwork on the panels as often as they buy my works on paper.
Stretched canvas take up A LOT of space, both in my room and at markets. A lot of these markets, you only get 6 foot tables. It's the same with wood panels of 1/2" or more.
But having a sturdy canvas to paint on is great...
I like are these new aluminum panels that you can paint on. I only have a few bc I'm figuring them out.

Pretty dandelion princess crow is about done.
After making this, I was kind of meh about this painting. But seeing it on my drying rack, it’s growing on me. Definitely has some elements that I didn’t use in my landscapes before, will try to develop those ideas further.

This is next on the list to try and finish. It's closer, but still a ways away. I think I have the chutzpah to finish it though. This painting memorializes my art van burning down on the way to Cherry Creek Art Festival.
Moving on, I finally reach the lion and work my way through the spikes to its face.
