#Unicef reports that "an average of 112 children a day [...] have been admitted for treatment for #malnutrition in the #Gaza Strip" since the beginning of 2025.

If this trend continues until end of June (i.e. one more week), it will be 20,000 children, or about 1% of the overall population of the Gaza strip. That doesn't sound much, but
a) every child is one too many (especially for something like malnutrition, where the only thing necessary to avoid it would be to let food trucks into Gaza),
b) these numbers don't include adults, and
c) there's little reason to believe the other children and adults in Gaza are doing much better.
#Israel (and in particular #Netanjahu) bears the responsibility for this.
(Yes, #Israel has the right to defend itself, and yes, the #Hamas attack on Israel was #terrorism, but no, this does not justify the extent to which Israel retaliates, and especially not the attacks on #civilians and #humanaidworkers.)
