Happy release day! I am back and we're now on version 4.5.0-rc.2! Happy halloween y'all 
The second release candidate for Mastodon 4.5 is ready!
It fixes an issue introduced in the first release candidate with some email setups, as well as a few interface rough edges.
We still expect the final version for next week, but please test it out and provide feedback!

Upgraded to v4.5.0-rc.2
Minor screw up when I forgot to pin the Postgres to v14, but managed to fix everything.
Quotes appear to be available, but it's pulling of other replies/context for remote posts that I think will be most interesting.

Hi, anyone having trouble with Mastodon after Redis upgrade to version 8.2.2, like Redis errors in Sidekiq or old, but alwyas marked as new notifications of edited boosts?

vanta rainbow black: editor-in-chief sometimes when i see that we have 100 active users on this instance i don't believe it. like it certainly doesn't feel like there're 100 different peeps actively posting on the local timeline at any given point. then i remember posting followers-only is a thing lmao

Seit iOS 26 starten bei mir in der mobilen Browser Variante Videos von #Mastodon nicht mehr. War bisher immer super zufrieden mit der Variante. Hab nie ne App verwendet. Hat jemand ne Idee? #Mastoadmin
The delete all dead jobs from the SideKiq morgue is missing in v4.5-beta.2 Mastodon. Anyone know how to tweak it and get that link back? #MastoAdmin I'm gonna poke around and see if it is a custom webUI change. Curious if there was a reason to remove it, also. #Mastodon

Hi, in my two Mastodon instances v4.4.8+glitch and v4.5.0-beta.2+glitch old notifications for edited boosts are always marked as new, even if they are several days old and have been marked as seen several times.
Is this a problem with glitchsoc?
