Heute einiges geschafft.
Leaflet mit Kartendaten gefüttert und ein wenig mit GeoDaten und GeoPunkten herumgespielt. Sogar einen mbtiles-Host gefunden, der vorgenerierte Kartendaten für die Niederlande und Europa bereitstellt – super! Damit konnte ich sogar einen MapTile-Server aufsetzen und schicke MapTiles unter meine GeoObjects legen.

@nilz Man kann GPS Tracks mit den Standard Kartenlibraries (z.B. #leaflet, #openlayers, etc) auf den unterschiedlichsten Karten einblenden. Ob so etwas schon als Standard (mit Auswahl nach Zeit oder …) implementiert wurde, ist mir nicht bekannt. Auf der OSM Seite kann man sich alle öffentlich hochgeladen GPS Tracks für ein Gebiet anzeigen lassen: Hier für #Wuerzburg https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/62464#map=12/49.7804/9.9432&layers=G. Hier ist geht es eher um die Genauigkeit der eingezeichneten Wege zu den gefahrenen Wegen.

So far, I only have locations that serve (at least) as early voting centers. There are several more pages of day-of voting centers that I could conceivably add. I'm debating building a small, static, mobile website with #Leaflet to perhaps make a "show me my closest voting station" feature, and maybe a "schedule my voting time" feature that spits out an ical file or something. The opening hours are all there in the OSM data.

(Annoying sidenote: most college/university locations are either early vote only, election day only, or not open at all :()

- My current JS skill level is _extreme novice_.
- I don't have access to ArcGIS.
- Comfortable with #QGIS [*] and the #python #geospatial ecosystem (#geopandas #xarray #rasterio and plotting with #matplotlib)

Die Karten aus dem Buch 'Europe by Rail' sind über URL shorts auf der Seite ebrweb.eu aufrufbar. Auf diesen Karten werden bei mir nur die Markierungen angezeigt, aber der Hintergrund ist grau.

Ech kurde. Właśnie odkryłem, że plugin od cache psuje mi wyświetlanie map na blogu.

Gdy jestem zalogowany widzę na mapie wszystkie markery POI, profil wysokości trasy i mam możliwość pobrania pliku gpx, ale bez logowania jest tylko mapa z narysowaną trasą.

Znowu trzeba będzie dłubać, albo wyłączyć keszowanie całkiem, bo i tak nie ratuje bloga przed FediDDoS-em, a cała reszta ruchu jest znikoma.
