My own <a href="https://goingdark.social/tags/instance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#instance</a> runs there too, tuned for ~1000 users but it's just me + 5 others.Strict mode in <a href="https://goingdark.social/tags/Cloudflare" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Cloudflare</a> just means they’ll validate the cert from my end when connecting origin > edge, so the second TLS leg is trusted/encrypted. But with Tunnel, the first leg still terminates at Cloudflare. Both hops are encrypted, but Cloudflare’s in the middle by design. Only <a href="https://goingdark.social/tags/DNS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DNS</a> only or Spectrum gives true end-to-end.

Of course, mods have to fight fake typos and propaganda for letter twisters! But our typos would be freed from that nasty killing edit feature! I got an email alert from not my last instance, but the instance before that, saying I had a new follower.I also had a notification that that same account had followed me on this instance. Not sure what that's all about.I thought this account was already following me, but perhaps they changed their instance, which is why I got the sudden re-follow idk.
