I restored Discover to my Bazzite install using a Systemd-Sysext. Essentially a sub disk image that is loaded during boot of the immutable system, that way you dont have to layer all the plasma components this would usually require!

Neat! No shade to the #bazaar devs

I watched this talk (by Rafal Dittwald) a few years ago, but it still holds up really well.
It does an excellent job of illustrating the differences between procedural, object-oriented, and functional programming.
A great and simple game example to clearly explain the concepts.

I finally started building my own container image for #Fedora #Kinoite 42 with a `/nix` directory (only an empty directory).

Works. Only had to remove the dependency on the `nix-directory.service` from the nix.mount unit and now I have a populated /nix directory and everything is available again.
