The new options on clicking a hashtag are too much. Intrusive, blocking, extra steps.
Steps to drive hashtagging, and steps to give access to features, yes. But this is not an improvement. Maybe a way to turn it off?

It includes thousands of lines of #HyperTalk code, plus some
C code to interface to a scantron machine and to do simulated annealing

My child has not been in school for 2 months suffering with #mentalHealth problems. Yesterday I went to a #parents evening and talked with most of his #teachers. Every one of them offered something: special classes, sending work home, suggested timetable changes, #school swaps, video calls... And they all expressed their sadness that my child wasn't able to be in class.
Teachers have a HARD job, so to offer all this was amazing, I was moved to tears by the care and humanity they showed. THANK YOU!

Ohhh just saw that I've just hit 200 followers on Mastodon. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work, and continues to support and encourage me. 
I'd love to work on building a community on here vs on corporate social media like Instagram, where most my followers are at the moment.
33 years ago, the Monday after Easter, my baby boy had heart surgery. I wrote sometime after, “I was only 21 years old myself and felt my life would most certainly end if he didn’t wake from surgery. I barely knew him, really, but I knew my life relied upon his.”
