Heute gibt es ein weiteres Foto vom Museumszug der #BerlinerEisenbahnfreunde am Donnerstag auf der Durchfahrt in #Neustrelitz. Auf der Rückfahrt von Waren (Müritz) fuhr die Schlepptender-Dampflokomotive 03 2155 mit dem Tender voran Richtung Berlin zurück – in Waren gibt es keine Drehscheibe, auf der die Lok hätte gewendet werden können. Gut, dass der Sohn dabei war, der einem solche Details erklären kann.

Today there is another photo of the #BerlinerEisenbahnfreunde museum train passing through #Neustrelitz on Thursday. On the return journey from Waren (Müritz), the locomotive 03 2155 was heading back towards Berlin with the tender in front - there is no turntable in Waren where the locomotive could have been turned. It's a good thing the son was there to explain such details.

Zum #FensterFreitag gibt es gleich wieder ein Eisenbahn-Foto. Der #Museumszug der #BerlinerEisenbahnfreunde fuhr gestern von Berlin nach Waren (Müritz) und zurück. Hier ist er auf der Durchfahrt in #Neustrelitz – aufgenommen mit 1/1000s. Im Bild ist ein sogenannter #Rekowagen der Gattung Baag(e). Diese wurden zwischen 1960 und 1964 unter Verwendung alter Fahrgestelle gebaut.

Here's yet another railroad photo for #WindowFriday. The #MuseumTrain of the #BerlinerEisenbahnfreunde traveled from Berlin to Waren (Müritz) and back yesterday. Here it is passing through #Neustrelitz - taken at 1/1000s. The picture shows a so-called #Rekowagen of the Baag(e) class. These were built between 1960 and 1964 using old chassis.

Das Bild zeigt die nächtliche Szenerie eines Platzes in einer Altstadt mit Restaurants, Terrassen, zusammengeklappten Sonnenschirmen und Fahrrädern vor einer großen Pfütze, in der sich alles spiegelt. Im Detail zeigt das Bild eine Reihe von Gebäuden im Stil einer europäischen Altstadt, die nachts beleuchtet sind. Wenn der Triebzug der S-Bahn frisch glänzend aus der Waschanlage gekommen ist, könnte ich doch mal auf ein zum großen Piktogramm passendes Fahrrad warten. Oh! Klick. Das ging ja schnell. Das Rad wirkt tatsächlich so schnörkellos aufgeräumt wie das Piktogramm. Das weiße Basecap auf der Linie ist das i-Tüpfelchen. Zum Glück verdeckt das Unterrohr, dass ich die Schrittstellung hier nicht hinbekommen habe.

When the suburban train has come out of the washing plant with a fresh shine, I could wait for a bicycle that matches the large pictogram. Oh, click. That was quick. The bike really does look as uncluttered and tidy as the pictogram. The white baseball cap on the line is the icing on the cake. Luckily, the down tube hides the fact that I didn't manage the stepping position here.

An dieser schönen gepflegten AWO 425 konnte ich natürlich nicht einfach so vorbeigehen. Leider stand sie teils vor einem Glaselement und teils vor Mauerwerk. Dadurch lenkt der Hintergrund etwas ab und ich musste auf Reflexionen von mir und der Umgebung achten. Nach ein paar Aufnahmen konnte ich mit etwas Glück den Spiegel für ein Streetphoto nutzen. Da das schöne Fahrzeug in diesem gar nicht zur Geltung kommt, habe ich dann mit Diptic eine Collage erstellt.

Of course, I couldn't just walk past this beautifully maintained AWO 425. Unfortunately, it was partly in front of a glass element and partly in front of brickwork. As a result, the background is somewhat distracting and I had to watch out for reflections of myself and the surroundings. After a few shots, I was lucky enough to use the mirror for a street photo. As the beautiful vehicle doesn't really come into its own in this one, I then used Diptic to create a #collage.
