I don't have a #Fairphone, but am considering one just to have something that runs #eOS out of the box. However, the FP 5 and 6 got rid of the headphone jack in favor of Bluetooth, which is the exact opposite of what I want. So if anyone is listening, here's what I want in a Fairphone 7: (1) bring back the headphone jack, and (2) make the Bluetooth module removable. That's it. Less battery drain, more privacy.

/e/OS is definitely using MicroG. I doubt if you ever get a workable AOSP ROM without.

Ich habe gerade entdeckt, dass es für mein altes Samsung S8 (von 2017, Codename dreamlte) wieder aktuelle /e/OS Builds gibt. Sogar schon eOS 3.1.1 inkl. neueren Features wie Parental Control.
So lässt sich das alte Handy noch gut als Einstiegsgerät für die weiterführende Schule nutzen

Le zoom de l'appareil photo fonctionne mais après quelques instants ça fige avec "erreur général photo"

Huh, I tried to install #Citymapper on a #Fairphone6 with #eOS and it mostly seems to work, except when I want to enter an address, which opens and then immediately closes the selector as if it validated the currently entered one... Which renders the whole of the app basically useless.
