Aunque este tipo de filtros debería haber acompañado desde un primer momento a los generadores de imágenes con IA, se celebra que al fin un buscador añada la función. Eso sí, con muchos asteriscos porque dejan claro desde el propio DuckDuckGo que puede contener inexactitudes.

Si no fuera un problema tan grave, sería gracioso hacer una búsqueda cualquiera y comparar la cantidad de imágenes generadas por Inteligencia Artificial que se nos cuelan entre los primeros resultados. Pista: muchas.

Regarding #konterfai:

After a quick test, there is only 1 out of 22 tested search engines that provide the right and desired result when searching for konterfai: #duckduckgo. All the others correct you and you have to go to a second page, and many dont even offer that option, showing "konterfei" results instead. Can be fixed by "" around the word "konterfai" in many cases, but lots of this is due to #slop #enshitification and such. Try and add screenshots here!

Well #BitWarden has completely let me down. Twice now if I'm being truly honest.

Only reason I switched back to BitWarden as opposed to running #VaultWarden was because $10 a year is cheaper than 5 EUR a month for the VPS.

Never. Fucking. Again.

I am completely locked out of my account. I have no access to the 2500 #credentials that are in my BitWarden #account. I can't login to BitWarden. I can't do shit. BitWarden's solution? Tough shit. You're shit out of luck. Better luck next time.

And I am now at the mercy of #DuckDuckGo.

I was finally able to get an Email to #DDG's #support to go through. Had to use #Gmail. They are silently discarding emails from my domain because I never receive an auto-reply or an acknowledgment they even received them.

I am beyond fucking pissed and livid right now.

At this point I just going to go back to fucking Keepass. Except the whole reason for switching back to Bitwarden was for Passkey support!

Jesus goddamn fucking Christ.

About time a search engine did this.
Picture research is time-consuming enough without also having to trawl through page after tedious page of false, redundant, pointless imagery claiming to be something it isn't.

On Tuesday I upgraded my self-hosted #Mailcow server.

On Tuesday most of my @duck.com email addresses stopped working.

I've just been told that if @duck.com tried to forward one email to you, and it can't deliver it, then it will stop forwarding every other email address you have in your account!

One failure.

So I'm guessing that while all the various docker containers for my hosted Mailcow install were being upgraded and restarted one fucking email came-in to my domain from @duck.com and it was bounced for whatever reason.

And now I'm sitting here looking at 100+ unique email addresses, most of which are used as authentication credentials for logging-in to websites and services, that I now need to figure out how to change.

Do. Not. Use. DuckDuckGo. Email. Privacy.

Mittlerweile ist die #KI-Seuche so tief in #google und #chatGPT und #perplexity eingedrungen, dass #duckduckgo bessere und korrektere Ergebnisse bei der Suche ausgibt. Ich suchte mein Sendmail-Buch für den Herdtverlag, das ist so alt, dass es nur noch in der deutschen Nationalbibliothek verfügbar ist. Die kennt wohl weder Google noch ChatGPT noch Perplexity.

Je découvre que DuckDuckGo a un domaine https://noai.duckduckgo.com/ qui permet de faire des recherches sans les outils IA du site et en plus avec un filtre anti-IA dans la recherche (c'est une curation humaine donc y'a des trous dans la raquette, mais c'est déjà ça) par défaut (tout ceci est configurable sur https://duckduckgo.com, mais ça ne reste pas en navigation privée, par exemple).

Dans firefox, vous pouvez aller dans les préférences de recherche (about:preferences#search) et ajouter un "raccourcis de recherche" (tout en bas) comme ça :
Nom du moteur de recherche: DuckDuckGo (no AI)
URL avec %s à la place de l’expression recherchée: https://noai.duckduckgo.com/?q=%s
