Human rights are for everyone.

No, dignity is not conditional.

No, your worth is not decided by your gender, race, income, ability, identity, age, or beliefs.

No, justice should not be reserved for the privileged few.

No one is “less than.”

You are human. That alone is enough to deserve safety, respect, equality, and freedom.

Every person. Every place. Every time.

@rbreich What are we doing? What can we do? First the Native Americans and now these undocumented immigrants, who are Native Americans from Latin America, where they’re also discriminated. Something is going to befall this country for what it has done and continues to do, unless we show compassion and peacefully radically create change. The statistics show a dramatic increase, yet not many new buildings. Never again! 🏳️🕊️ سلم שלם #resist #free #freedom #dignity #justice #mercy

"Dignity represents the courage, perseverance and wisdom of the Lakota and Dakota culture in South Dakota. My hope is that the sculpture might serve as a symbol of respect and promise for the future."

' #Economics, in its most radiant and redeemed vision, is not merely a mechanical calculus of #markets or a sterile #science of efficiency-it is the deeply moral, civilizational inquiry into the architecture of human flourishing.
It is the grammar of how societies imagine #justice, distribute #dignity, and sustain the delicate weave of material, emotional, ecological, and spiritual well-being. '

We spoke for maybe forty-five minutes. I was just another patient. She was just trying to breathe. But the things she said in that waiting room — about dignity, about survival, about being human — haven’t left me since.
