Have just finished dismantling one of my PCs, wiggling all the cables/connectors, rebuilding and successfully rebooting. However, if I'd been thinking better I'd have only wiggled half of them so that I could discover which half has the loose bit. Consequently I'm no closer to finding the culprit. Must leave myself a note in the case!
