@robinhouston
I have a Bedlam Cube but wasn't aware of its history.

The patent has expired but the trademark is still active
patents.google.com/patent/GB21 has diagrams
trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmca

Bedlam Puzzles Limited was incorporated on 18 April 2002 and dissolved 13 August 2013 find-and-update.company-inform

The last useful capture of BPL’s website is Aug 2008 web.archive.org/web/2008082809
The first capture stating “Bedlam Puzzles website has now closed”
is Feb 2011, presumably when Bruce Bedlam reclaimed his trademark. web.archive.org/web/2011020210

My cube is wooden with colour pieces. Bedlam Puzzles Limited started selling these around Sep/Oct 2006, but I bought mine from a discount variety store. web.archive.org/web/2008050909

Perhaps the moral of the story is that the cube is simple compared with the complexity of business and intellectual property.

@mrdk @unnick
I'm not sure that these are related to the Jitterbug transformation.

This is my recreation of unnick's original cube/octahedron loop. I used the rhombic dodecahedron and rhombic triacontahedron for this and the previous loop. They remind me of tensegrity structures.

BTW, I made a couple of origami versions of the Jitterbug transformation many years ago. This one foldworks.net/wp-content/uploa works better than the first version britishorigami.org/academic/da

For years I've wanted to make an #LED #Cube - I even bought led matrix boards years ago, they been sitting in a box, just waiting. A couple of days ago I found a simple 5x5 (half cube) to print. So I printed it, finding my matrix boards, I thought, wow this thing printed too big, but it says 5x5 -- Hmmmm, so dummy me printed a 2nd, with the same results. I decided to scale it down 25% - and that worked.... Can you see the problem that took me a day to see?
