I get asked a LOT on my stream about modelling from scratch vs using things like geometry node generation. Knowing HOW to make something is important - BUT, knowing where to put it and how to integrate it are equally important, and FAR less talked about. #ConceptArt #Blender

Floating Pirate Port (pt1) -

Whalebone Ship -
Somehow, they had used the skeletal carcass of a whale as the framework for a misshapen ship, covering the rotting flesh with wooden platforms festooned with ballista. I had no idea how it moved through the ocean, but move it did, and swiftly.
The Great Eye -
As we reached the coast, the light from the sky grew even dimmer. I stood on deck as we passed the Great Eye, looming over the bay. I had asked the captain if it was a lighthouse, but they just looked at me blankly.

- pbmoj I imagined this character to be a herbalist - going into the woods and fields to collect the best leaves and ingredients and later selling them in the village. 
The cloth and pelt that hold her basket like a backpack also double as a comfy mat/base for her selling setup. :)

Making For The Sea -
There was no wind and no current, but the ship moved silently but forcefully through the channel, heading for the sea. Besides the crew and myself, there was one other passenger, a frail-looking elflike man I was told was a "Eithanoi"
