Educationalists are worried about children's literacy. Screen time is replacing parental reading. Those born after 1997 are reluctant to read with their children. This could be that they were raised with technology. One survey found that the majority of parents did not see reading with their children as fun. Even looking at a picture book together every day for 5 years can vastly increase a child's literacy.
