Bruce Fanjoy has been working his riding for months, and deserves recognition and respect for all he’s done. Also though, if Carleton did replace Pierre Poilievre with Bruce Fanjoy, and the NDP candidate did get only 1.5% of the vote (3-4 points below where she was polling) then my hypothesis is she put support behind Fanjoy to ensure LPC and NDP didn’t split the vote, and Beth Prokaska is a hero.

@chad I'm sitting in my home in the village of Manotick hoping this is the last time we have to refer to #PP, or #PeePee, or #PPTheGoat as some of us called him. The MP none of us asked for, just placed here because historically #Carleton votes #Conservative no matter what. But the riding is changing, rural is being replace with suburban, demographics are changing too. It's a 3% spread right now, #Fanjoy leading, with 235 of 266 polls having reported results. It is tight, but soon we will know.

@annecavicchi #Fanjoy all the way! Below is a photo of #Poilievre's #Carleton constituency office. His team can't even be bothered to hang up the sign. And #PP with his "Bring it Home" slogan: if you can't take care of the house, you can't #BringItHome, whatever the heck that's supposed to mean.

He has been a member of our federal government for TWENTY ONE YEARS!

Friends in Carleton riding, your #NDP candidate, Beth #Prokaska ( https://bethprokaska.ndp.ca/ ) has approximately 5% of the support in the polls. She has zero chance of winning this seat.
If Ms Prokaska , an accomplished and respected community leader, withdrew from the race and put her support behind Bruce #Fanjoy, the Liberal candidate for the riding, the residents of #Carleton could almost certainly remove Pierre Poilievre from that seat.
Ms Prokaska could be a hero.
