AP News · Hegseth reposts video featuring pastors opposing women's right to voteThe man who oversees the nation’s military has reposted a video on X, formerly Twitter, about a Christian nationalist church that included various pastors saying women should no longer be allowed to vote and should “submit” to their husbands. The extraordinary repost from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was made Thursday night. It illustrates his deep and personal connection to a Christian nationalist pastor with extreme views on the role of religion and women. In the post, Hegseth commented on a report by CNN examining Doug Wilson, cofounder of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches. The report featured various pastors of the denomination advocating the repeal of women’s right to vote from the Constitution and parishioners saying that women should “submit” to their husbands.
Fishing For Moments
Am letzten Donnerstag beim Konzert von Tocotronic am Strand von #Warnemünde. Irgendwie hat mir keiner gesagt, dass ich runter zum Wasser oder wenigstens die Kamera höher halten muss, um den Sonnenuntergang zu fotografieren. Und nun? Ach, seht selbst: nur andere Menschen im Bild. 🙄

Last Thursday at the Tocotronic concert on the beach in Warnemünde. Somehow nobody told me that I had to go down to the water or at least hold the camera higher to photograph the sunset. And now? Oh, see for yourself: only other people in the picture. 🙄

The Ignatiuskirche, or Alter Dom, is a historic church in Linz, Austria, known for its Baroque architecture and as the former cathedral of the Diocese of Linz. It was completed in the 18th century and features exquisite interior artwork and a prominent altar.

Anton Bruckner (1824 - 1896) was organist there from 1856 to 1868. The Bruckner Festival is held annually in the church in honor of the composer. (Wikipedia)
